Shiraz Gin

A distinctive gin that retains the bright character of a classic dry gin while embracing the richness of premium Shiraz grapes.

Made with the same botanicals as our Signature Gin — juniper, orange, cardamom, coriander seed and Tasmanian pepper berry — with Shiraz grapes sourced from Lark Hill Winery.

The grapes are hand-pressed and macerated with the gin before the spirit is transferred into a freshly emptied 300-litre Shiraz wine barrel, also from Lark Hill Winery. It is then matured in the barrel for two months.

During maturation, the gin develops a rich ruby hue, gentle sweetness and layers of dark berry fruit, subtle spice and soft oak. Juniper remains at the forefront, complemented by the warmth and complexity of the Shiraz grapes and wine-barrel ageing.

Produced using 100% renewable energy, our Shiraz Gin is made as a limited annual release of approximately 150 bottles.

Enjoy it straight, over ice, with soda water or with a light tonic. Its berry fruit and subtle sweetness also make it well suited to a Shiraz Gin Sour, Negroni or spritz-style cocktail. Shiraz gin is commonly used in these styles because its fruit character works with citrus, bitter aperitifs and lighter sparkling mixers.

Like a good wine, Shiraz Gin should be stored away from heat and bright light to preserve its colour and character.
